ANXIETY/ INSOMNIA PACKAGE:
For years, anxiety was dismissed as psychosomatic, however, studies have shown that it
has a real physical basis. Experts now believe that Anxiety is caused by a malfunction in
brain chemistry, where the brain sends and receives false “emergency signals”. Many people
with anxiety become fearful of being alone, of visiting public places. Many people feel a vague
sense of dread much of the time. Many of my patients take Zen in the a.m 2-3 and L-Tryptophan
before bed 1-3.
ZEN: Contains GABA and L-Theananine. GABA is an amino acid that acts a neurotransmitter to the central nervous system. It is essential for brain metabolism, aiding in proper brain function. GABA prevents anxiety-and stress-related messengers from reaching receptor sites in the brain. GABA can be taken to calm the body. L-Theanine is an amino acid derivative found in green tea. It is also recognized to have calming properties. Human studies have demonstrated that dietary L-theanine supplementation increases alpha wave activity, fostering a state of alert relaxation. Studies have also shown that administration of L-Theanine regulates brain serotonin concentration by affecting serotonin synthesis in the brain. Zen can be taken with or without food. 60 Count |

L-TRYPTOPHAN:
Is an essential amino acid that is necessary for the production of serotonin, . Tryptophan
helps to combat depression, insomnia and anxiety and to stabilize moods. It controls
hyperactivity, alleviates stress and enhances the release of growth hormones. Since our
brains make serotonin from L-Tryptophan it makes perfect sense that taking extra L-tryptophan compensates for any malfunctioning serotonin-dependent circuits , easing anxiety.
Note: L-Tryptophan should always be taken away from protein at least two hours from your last
meal. Carbohydrates help metabolize it, so a piece of fruit, or a small amount of juice would be a
good idea.
"I had so much anxiety, I was afraid to drive on the freeway, afraid of new situations, and would get an overwhelming sense of dread. I tried many medications, but did not have a good reaction and believe in natural supplements. I am very pleased with the results I am getting, no more racing heart, no more insomnia and dread." Thank you ,

"The prescription medication I was on for sleep was making me confused, so I started the Tryptophan and it works just as good if not better without the side effects of drugs"
